Transfer Achievement Celebration 2024

Save the Date!

Tuesday, June  18, 2024 
6:30– 8:00 p.m.
Foothill College Dining Hall (2200)

Light appetizers will be served at 5:30 p.m. for an hour before the event begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Transfer Achievement Celebration will be held in-person (Masks Optional). 

To participate in the celebration ceremony, you must have been accepted to a university for FALL 2024 and MUST register for the event by the proposed deadline (TBD) (space is limited).

Please check back for registration form by end of April.

The event will be hosted in-person. There will also be a youtube video livestream (for viewing only, it will not be interactive).

 

• Students who are unable to attend the celebration in-person may view it through Youtube Live Stream. They will have a slide and be acknowleged if they register on time. However, they may/may not receive a pennant (TO BE DETERMINED).

Event Activities

• Learn where your peers are transferring
• Hear inspirational and congratulatory words
• Light appetizers will be available
• Photo opportunities with family and friends
• Students who pre-registered (by June ?) will receive a university pennant when they check-in at the event.
• Students who pre-registered (by June ?) will be in a drawing to win a $??? transfer scholarship (must be present in-person to win)

Please provide the following information:

• Send your photo, size 500x500 jpeg, to fhtransfercenter@fhda.edu which we'll include with your transfer achievement for the June 18 celebration slide presentation.  Your slide will look more complete if you provide a picture.  Your picture can be a head shot or from the waist up. 
•  When you Register: In 60 words or less, please provide a few sentences about a positive Foothill College experience (ie: student clubs/government, special programs, athletics), Foothill employees, and/or family members that have helped you towards your transfer success, which we'll add to our Transfer Center website, with your photo and transfer achievement.

Student comments and pictures may be edited by the Transfer Center if necessary.
