The primary goal of the Counseling Center is to provide opportunities for you to clarify your personal goals and values. It also assists you in understanding the relationship between your goals and values, chosen academic programs and career opportunities. Counselors work to help you in improving your self-image, understanding, self-esteem and direction. Our counselors, with their educational credentials and training, deliver a range of counseling services.
You may use our online system to schedule 30-minute counseling appointments. Please note that you will need a valid 8-digit Foothill College Student ID number (SID) to get started. Most counseling appointments are located in Room 8305A in the Counseling Center located on the third floor of the Student Services Building in the lower campus. Please be aware that some counselors may be located in other parts of our campus, such as CTIS Room 4127 or in Room I-4 on the Middlefield Campus.
When should you schedule a 30-Minute Counseling Appointment?
Some issues, such as those listed below, require more time than a 10-minute drop-in meeting and you should schedule an appointment to see a counselor.
Drop-in counseling is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 10 minutes in Room 8305A. You will need a valid Foothill College Student ID (SID) to see a counselor.
When should you see a drop-in counselor?
