Meet Your Owl Scholars Team

Who We Are

The Foothill College Owl Scholars Program is our campus early alert support system. The program is designed to provide encouragement, motivation, and direct connection to tutoring services, on-campus resources, as well as, other support services.

Become an Owl Scholar   

Are you enrolled in one or more of these foundational classes at Foothill? If yes, and you are referred by your instructor — you are eligible to be an Owl Scholar!

  • ENGLISH 209, 110, 1S/1T
  • ESLL 226, 227, 236, 237, 249
  • MATH 105, 220, 1A

As an OWL Scholar, you'll receive assistance from our team, especially when obstacles may get in your way.

  • Receive one-on-one guidance from our supportive staff who can connect you to tutoring resources and other services on campus
  • Create an action plan to keep you on track and focused on your goals throughout the quarter
  • Attend workshops and study groups
  • Develop a support community at Foothill College

The Owl Scholars Workshop Series presents:

Priorities, Planning and Power: The 3 P's to Productivity!

If you have ever felt like your time is not your own, then this workshop is for you! And if you want to start the quarter with some sense of organization, then this workshop is REALLY for you!

Uncover what you're committing to with your academic schedule and learn how to balance it all. By the time you leave this workshop, you will have a better understanding of how mastering your schedule will put the power of time back in your hands. We'll have engaging activities, food, and materials you can take with you to help be more organized. So come join us for a productivity party!
