The Foothill College Veterans Education & Development Program is designed especially to meet the unique educational and career training needs of veterans and active duty service personnel

Foothill College offers veterans and active duty personnel the unique opportunity to learn new skills, adapt your military skills to civilian life, and earn a college degree or career certificate. Our Veterans Education & Development Program - Project Veterans - is dedicated to helping you identify and pursue comprehensive academic and career-training programs that meet your personal and professional goals. Established to help armed services personnel achieve their educational goals by addressing their specialized needs, Project Veterans is a one-stop information resource and guide to student services for veterans entering the higher education system at Foothill College. We encourage veterans interested in pursuing vocational training, a college degree, apprenticeship program, career certificate, or just interested in taking a class for personal enrichment to begin their search here.

Contact us now via phone or e-mail. In response, we will do everything possible to assist you, including:

  • Give you a guided tour of the campus;
  • Help you complete the Foothill College Application for Admission;
  • Arrange a consultation with an academic counselor who will help you develop an individual education plan;
  • Schedule placement tests as needed;
  • Help you enroll and select appropriate courses;
  • Process your GI Bill Application;
  • Provide information about financial aid and scholarships;
  • Provide disability accommodations information as needed;
  • Explain the advantages of in-person and online courses;
  • Arrange the support services you may need such as
    Adaptive Services Career Counseling
    Competitive Athletics Fitness Center
    Housing Learning Disability Specialist
    Personal Counseling Placement Testing
    Student Government  Student Health Office
    Tutorial Center Financial Aid

At Foothill College, you can enroll in convenient courses that meet mornings, afternoons, evenings and online. Our outstanding faculty ensure that the instruction you receive prepares you to earn the Foothill College associate degree and/or transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor's degree.
