May is National Foster Care Month. The blue ribbons you see around our campus this month remind our Foothill community to salute the compassionate people serving as foster parents, relative caregivers, mentors, advocates, social workers, and volunteers. Foothill College supports the statewide Foster Youth Success Initiative (FYSI). Please refer any students you know who may be former foster youth to Josephine Christensen, our Foster Youth Liaison. California Dream Act of 2011
January 01, 2013

The California Dream Act of 2011 became law allowing students who meet AB 540 criteria to apply for and receive state-funded financial aid such as institutional grants, community college fee waivers (BOGW), and Cal Grant. FHDA Money Card Useful Information
October 01, 2012

Once you submit your supplemental paperwork requested by the Financial Aid Office and register for classes, an FHDA Money Card will be initiated. Within 1-2 weeks Higher One bank, will mail a lime green envelope along with the card to the financial aid address listed on the college system and your MyPortal record. Once you receive an envelope from Higher One, you would need to enter your 16-digit card number, activate your card and choose Refund Preference through www.fhdamoneycard.com. At the d
