Lecture VI: Indigenous People's Day
10-11:30 p.m.

Join by Zoom  Password: wisdom

This year, we will celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day by recognizing Indigenous American Nations and traditions from Alaska, to Chile, and Hawaii.

While we will focus on the cultures, belief systems, and practices that have enabled Native Peoples to survive for the past 500 years, it’s important that we also examine the politics of oppression and resistance.

Miguel González, an educator, entrepreneur, and cultural activist from East San Jose, will lead participants through storytelling, poetry, and music to recognize and reclaim the sacred knowledge of how to live and be Indigenous American
