Art Installation

Time: Week 1- Week 2
Location: Library Quad

Join us as we create an art installation that features a colorful archway and chalk drawings based on LGBTQ facts. All are welcome to take part in making art. Hosted by The Art Café.


Lecture Series I: NonBinary and Genderqueer History

Tuesday, June 4
Time: Noon-1pm
Location: Hearthside Lounge 2313

Nonbinary and genderqueer identities have only recently begun to gain attention, but they have always existed throughout human history around the world. Learn about that history, what it means to be nonbinary, and the very concept of gender in this workshop presented by Outlet. A local youth-centered organization, Outlet empowers LGBTQ youth and builds safe and accepting communities. Complimentary food provided.


Human Library

Wednesday, June 5
Time: 9a.m−3p.m.
Location: Library Quad

Visit our 4th annual Human Library, where instead of checking out books, you check out people who wish to share their life stories. Listen and talk about different identities and experiences. Break down stereotypes and prejudices. Our featured “book” is James McGrath - FHDA Alumnus, Air Force Veteran, Law School President, AIDS and LGBTQ Activist. Complimentary food provided.


Express Yourself Celebration

Monday, June 10
Time: Noon−1 p.m.
Location: Library

Express yourself with designs making T-shirts with LGBTQ themes  along with music and an open mic to share what you have made. Hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Awareness Club. Complimentary food provided


Film Screening: TransMilitary

Monday, June 10
Time: 1-3 p.m.
Location: Hearthside Lounge (Room 2313)

The military is the largest transgender employer in the United States, yet current policies ban transgender people from serving. TransMilitary is a feature-length documentary that follows four individuals as they risk their careers and livelihoods by coming out as transgender to top brass officials in the Pentagon in hopes of ending the ban.


College Hour: Cultural & Diversity Parade

Wednesday, June 12
Time: Noon−1 p.m.
Location: Cesar Chavez Plaza

Join this pride parade with a focus on cultural heritage! All are invited to represent your culture and honor the diversity of our community. Led by Foothill Beats and with a route all around the main Foothill campus, you can’t miss this festive end-of-the-year celebration. Complimentary food provided at the end.


Dancing to Freedom Party

Thursday, June 13
Time: Noon−1 p.m.
Location: Campus Center Plaza

Join us for the end of LGBTQ Heritage Month by dancing your way to freedom. This is a dance party and all are invited! Complimentary food provided.
