If you give your dog a smooch
and her breath is really skunky,
She might have lots of tartar
and other stuff that's funky!
So when you bring her in
to our veterinary place,
we're gonna check her out
from her booty to her face.
When we're lookin' at her teeth
and we see lots of crud,
we'll have to take her temperature
and draw lots of blood.
We'll anesthetize the bitch*
Yeah, we'll have to take her down
To do some endodontics
Or fit her with a crown.
We might find a dental fracture
Or even something worse
And when we have to fix it
We'll get into your purse!
Prevention is the word
To keep your wallent full
And keep your poochy healthy
Baby, that ain't no bull!
Sure, your dog needs good nutrition
And you gotta treat her fleas,
But please don't forget about
dental disease!
It could cause and infection
It could go to her heart,
It might affect her liver
Or any other part.
You gotta brush your doggy's teeth
Yeah, do it every day.
Don't let her mouth get nasty
Let her teeth decay!
You just put these rubber thingies
on your fingers or your thumbs,
then rub 'em on her teeth
and stimulate her gums.
It's really pretty easy
And doesn't take too long
I hope you get the message

Ya gotta brush her teeth
And keep her feelin' good!
