Effective Fall 2018, students can self-place into any of the following math courses.

Your Goal		Choose Math Course(s)
Earn Associate Degree AA/AS/Allied Health	⇒	MATH 105 OR MATH 180 OR Any math course listed in Transfer to University
Transfer to University UC/CSU/Private AA/AS for Transfer BS Dental Hygiene Note: see a counselor to help you choose the appropriate math course based on major and transfer university.	⇒	MATH 10, OR MATH 42, OR MATH 44, OR MATH 48A, OR MATH 48A and MATH 248A Based on high school GPA, students may be required to take MATH 248A (2 units).
Want Preparation Before Taking College-level Math	⇒	MATH 180, OR MATH 217 and MATH 17
Undecided	⇒	See a counselor

See a counselor for AP scores of 3 or above and for higher math level courses.

* Note: Math 42 & 44 are offered once a year in the Winter quarter.
