ASFC Design Center
The ASFC Design Center (formerly Paint Room Graphics) was founded in 1986 by the ASFC to assist with the marketing of campus events. Since then our array of work has expanded to include marketing of classes for departments, informational signs for services and offices on campus, and solutions for personal needs. Our services include the creation of flyers, posters, banners, brochures, programs, calendars, logos, business cards, as well as peripheral services such as scanning, printing, CD burning, etc.

ASFC Design Center Management
Sheila Baptist Manager
Sheila (pictured above) is a native of Santa Clara and has lived in Washington State and San Francisco. She has traveled abroad to many interesting places briefly including; Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Hawaii, Canada, Spain, Amsterdam, Germany, and France. Some highlights of her life were snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea with her lab Chelsea, a companion of 14 years. She now raises two dachshunds, is studying interactive digital technologies, printmaking, dance/history and is managing the ASFC Design Center (formally Paintroom Graphics) in the new Campus Center.
Her long term ambitions are professional advancement in the field of graphic/web design, obtaining an M.F.A. in another interdisciplinary art and design program fusing digital, traditional, performance and public art for social change and education. Currently, she is an active member of the One Campaign, the African Well Project, World Society for the Protection of Animals and is interested in green design, energy and recycling.
Making our little dot on the planet Foothill College better, visually and emotionally, through good design is important to her, while respecting its tradition and elegance. Being that Foothill is at the epicenter of the digital revolution in the Bay Area and on the forefront of educating students in interactive programming, technologies and design, she feels that sophisticated, cutting edge design on all campus materials including the banners, flyers and programs that her and her team create are important in reflecting this innovation and also progressing the experimental/cutting edge of our time.
