Cheerleading/Dance Squad
The Foothill College Cheerleading Team is a spirit organization that encourages interest and participation in the intercollegiate sports program. Men and women squad members act as ambassadors of good will, school spirit, scholarship and leadership.
A member of the Cheerleading/Dance Squad has the opportunity for great personal growth, leadership development and involvement in many different exciting activities.
All squad members must be enrolled at Foothill College, carry at least eight units and maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Members also receive unit credit for participation.

Student Ambassadors
The Ambassador Program is a service organization in which students serve as campus tour guides, panelists, special event aides and recruiting assistants at visits to high schools. Student ambassadors are valuable members of the college's recruitment and retention process.
Ambassadors gain valuable experience in networking, speech communication, mentoring, teamwork, recruiting, public relations and event coordination. Ambassadors must be enrolled in a minimum of eight units and have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.

College Hour
College Hour spotlights a variety of student activities every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m. Speakers, workshops, cultural programming, various holiday activities, career, volunteer and transfer fairs, Club Day, entertainment, music and political forums are featured. Event Scheduling & Coordination
To put an event on the Campus Life Calendar (available at the Office of Student Activities), and to prevent conflicts with other events, please call the Office of Student Activities before scheduling indoor or outdoor events on campus.

Multicultural Programming
Students, faculty and staff can be a part of the planning and coordination of our cultural heritage months. Activities include workshops, festivals, and special events that are open to everyone on campus and from the community. Call or come to the Office of Student Activities. Monthly events include: Jewish Heritage Month, Black History Month, Womens History Month, Asian Pacific Islander Month, Latino Heritage Month, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Month. Student Handbook Publication: "Beyond the Classroom"
This handbook is available to all students and employees. It also contains information on office locations, phone extensions, staff emails and has a map on the back. The Office of Student Activities produces and distributes it.
