Workshops
TAG Workshops
TAG workshops will begin the week of August 11 and continue through mid September. View the calendar and sign up below for a workshop. Please note the following: If you have any questions about your educational plan for next year regarding your TAG, make a counseling appointment as soon as possible. If you wait until September, you may find that no appointments are available! Educational plan questions (how to list your in progress and planned coursework for the 2014/2015 academic year)will not be addressed in the workshops. You will receive information about deadlines, how to complete the application, and the timeline of actions after submission.
 
How to Transfer to UC
(This workshop will not be offered during Summer, but will
resume in Fall Quarter.)

Learn the basics of UC transfer, requirements, deadlines, the benefits of starting the Application Planner, and how to get guaranteed admission! In addition, learn about the Blue and Gold Plan – UC cost may be much more affordable than you think! Please note that the workshop is not intended to replace advising from a counselor. The workshop will assist you in preparing to meet with your counselor. To obtain your individual educational plan, you must meet with a counselor.
 
How to Transfer to CSU
(This workshop will not be offered during Summer, but will
resume in Fall Quarter.)

Learn the basics of CSU transfer, requirements, deadlines and how to get guaranteed admission with a transfer degree! In addition, get your questions answered about financial aid. Please note that the workshop is not intended to replace advising from a counselor. The workshop will assist you in preparing to meet with your counselor. To obtain your individual educational plan, you must meet with a counselor.
 
How to Transfer to Private and Out of State Institutions
(This workshop will not be offered during Summer, but will
resume in Fall Quarter.)

Learn successful strategies for application to private and out-of-state institutions. In addition learn about financial aid opportunities. Please note that the workshop is not intended to replace advising from a counselor. The workshop will assist you in preparing to meet with your counselor. To obtain your individual educational plan, you must meet with a counselor.
 
How to Make a Decision About Where to Transfer
(This workshop will not be offered during Summer, but will
resume in Fall Quarter.)

Have you received multiple admission offers and not sure which one to choose? Learn how to weigh the various factors in making this most important decision.  Please note that this workshop will be taught by Transfer Counselor Cathy Denver and the Honors Program Director, Bernie Day.

Education Plan
Make an appointment with a counselor if you need assistance with your education plan. The key to success in transfer is to check in with your counselor on a regular basis.
