Transfer Week October 27-30!
Monday, October 27: Pacific Graduate School of Psychology Open House, 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Transfer Center, Room 8329 in the Student Services Building
Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (PGSP) will host an Open House to introduce students to the new Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Business, that will be housed right here at Foothill College! Please join us to learn more about this important new development that will assist Business and Psychology students at Foothill College to achieve their academic goals.
Tuesday, October 28: Middlefield Campus Transfer Fair, 5-7 pm, J Quad
Representatives from, Golden Gate University, Menlo College, Notre Dame de Namur, San Jose State Allied Health Programs, San Jose State School of Hospitality and Tourism, and University of San Francisco will have information on their traditional transfer programs as well as special programs for working adults (online, week-end and evening programs).
Wednesday, October 29: Student Transfer Panel, 12:00-1:00, Toyon Room, Campus Center
Students who have recently transferred to UC, CSU, and private universities will share their experiences and answer questions.
Thursday, October 30: Transfer Day at Foothill: 10am – 1pm, Campus Center Quad

Presenters from area CSU campuses will highlight special orientation programs and resources for new transfer students
UC Application Panel Presentation: 2:15-3:00 pm Toyon Room
Presenters from 4 UC campuses will explain the application process and highlight programs on their campuses
Columbia University Admission Workshop: 3:00 – 4 pm, Toyon Room
Kari Blowers from Columbia University will provide an overview of special admissions programs and procedures

Find out which majors are impacted at which CSU campuses. Be sure to apply by the end of November to get into one of these majors.
Try the new California College Explorer web site. It is filled with page after page of useful information for the transfer student including financial aid, transfer planning, choosing a college and choosing a career. This is one site you don't want to miss!
Transfer Readiness Class (CNSL 85h) - 1 Unit One hour lecture. Pass/No Pass. Based on this How To Transfer web site, this online course will help you learn to choose a college or university, to take the right courses, to fill out a college application, to write an application essay, to find a Transfer Buddy on-line to give you inside information on transfer and to use counselors and transfer programs to enhance transfer eligibility.
