Transfer Center Workshops & Events

To attend any of the workshops, come by the Career/Transfer Center and sign-up in our BLUE Workshop binder.  Or simply call or email (contact info below).  All workshops are located in the Transfer/Career Center in the Student Services Bldg (8100-8300) in room 8329 unless otherwise noted. TAG Workshops Attend a TAG workshop to find out if you have the completed transferable units and GPA to write a TAG or TAA for a UC, CSU or private university. All TAG workshops are located in the Transfer Center. YOU need to bring copies of your Foothill transcript and all other college transcripts. If you attended colleges other than Foothill, you must have those transcripts evaluated before you attend a workshop. You must bring all of your records with you to the workshop. Also, we will provide you with instructions for the recommendation sections. Thursday, January 14 12 noon – 1 p.m. Friday, January 22 12 noon – 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 16 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Monday, February 22 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Financial Aid Workshops Please Note: All of the Financial Aid Workshops will be held in Room 8330, except for the February 23 workshop, which will be held in Room 8216.  Come to learn how to MAXIMIZE your financial aid when you transfer this coming year! Tuesday, January 26 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Room 8330 Thursday, February 18 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., Room 8330 Tuesday, February 23 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., Room 8216 University Application Workshops Cornell University Tuesday, February 4 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m., Room 8330 This workshop will help you learn how to apply successfully to the university as well as provide application information for several other East Coast universities. You will also learn about significant scholarship opportunities. We hope to see you there!  Come to the Toyon Room, located in the Campus Center near the Smart Shop. International Nursing University of St. Kitts Admissions Workshop Wednesday, February 3 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m., Room 8403 If you are interested in pursuing a nursing degree, attend this session to find out about exciting opportunities in a nursing program without wait lists and that offers financial aid!
