Transfer Center Activities

Welcome to Winter Quarter!

We have several exciting events coming up that we want to announce:

Many students will be completing applications to the private universities this winter and spring.  To that end, we will be offering workshops on completing the common application and applying for TAGs to private universities. (Yes, that means Santa Clara University as well as several others!)  We also want to extend a personal invitation to attend the workshop for Cornell and other East Coast universities.  This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about these universities and what they have to offer you!

Did you apply this fall to attend a UC, CSU or private university in fall of 2010?  Be sure to attend a financial aid workshop to answer your questions about completing your FAFSA for the transfer school.  The Financial Aid staff will also give you tips and help you avoid common mistakes when completing the FAFSA.

Are you an international student?  Whether you are new here, or are getting ready to transfer, be sure to attend the International Student Transfer Fair on Thursday, February 25, 2010!  There will be something for everyone!  We will be located in the Dining Hall in the Campus Center from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.  We hope to see you there!

As always, let us know if you have a question, or the workshop schedule does not work for you.  You can always schedule an individual appointment.  Call 650-949-7235 or e-mail chenowethmaureen@foothill.edu

See you soon!
