What it's about

With increasingly limited resources and high demands from students, faculty, and staff, institutions are finding it difficult to provide effective support services. Join us online to explore a wide range of technology solutions focused on supporting student success, online student services, using learning analytics, mobile applications for higher education and professional development.

Learn firsthand how inventive technology-based solutions can reduce staff overload, engage students, support student success, meet accreditation requirements and supplement services impacted by budgetary reductions. Presenters will focus on how to utilize technology to improve student support and success through a wide variety of strategies.

Foothill College and Innovative Educators invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual technology conference, Leveraging Technology to Support Students, Faculty and Staff. This year the conference is being held 100% virtually, so all presentations will be online.

Since the conference is free for participants and is available completely online, we expect to have 1,000 to 1,500 registrants.

Event Information & Details
  • This Conference will be presented 100% online.
  • Participants will be able to access keynote addresses and all webinars online.
  • There will be 24 webinar presentations.
  • All presentations will start on the hour and last for 45 minutes.
  • Innovative Educators will provide all information for all participants to access online presentations.
  • There is no cost to attend the conference online on October 23 & 24, 2014
  • Some recordings will be made available for purchase after the conference.
  • Registration is FREE and opens on July 14, 2014.
Presenter Information

There will be 24 webinar presentation slots for this year's conference. Interested presenters are encouraged to submit a proposal that supports the theme Leveraging Technology to Support Students, Faculty and Staff. This year's focus is on how to utilize technology to improve student support and success.

Vendors interested in presenting a webinar may submit a proposal only with an educational partner, who must participate in the presentation. An educational partner is defined as a product user who is an administrator, faculty or staff member at a college or university, or related educational program. There may be up to 3 presenters per webinar.

Webinar Presentation Proposals are due Friday, August 8, 2014 to Denise Swett, Vice President of Student Services at swettdenise@foothill.edu.

Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, August 29, 2014, and presentation time will be selected.
