MISSION STATEMENT:


The mission of the Foothill College Sustainability Committee is to take a leadership role in promoting, developing and modeling sustainability initiatives for students, staff, faculty and other public entities that are served by the College.  Sustainability concepts will be incorporated into the academic and daily affairs of the college, minimizing the college's impact on the environment, and providing opportunities for, and encouragement of, student leadership roles in the endeavor.

New Cell Phone Radiation Warnings
How does your cell phone rate???

The Environmental Working Group just released a 10-month science evaluation regarding the hazards of cell phone radiation. This includes data from more than 200 peer-reviewed studies, as well as government advisories and industry documents. If you visit their site, you can view the entire report. There is also a listing of the 10-best cell phones, and you can check your cell phone to see where it falls with regard to radiation amounts. Visit them today!
