Our department is staffed with people who care and will encourage and offer support to you as you accomplish your educational goals.

Mission Statement:

To establish “over and above” support services and programs for financially needy and educationally disadvantaged students by creating an environment which values each individual’s potential to achieve their goals, educational careers and objectives, including, obtaining job skills, occupational certificates or associate degrees and transferring to four-year institutions.

Summer College Readiness Program
Prepare for Your Success: Register Now!

This five-week program prepares you for college in a relaxed academic setting so that you can experience:

• Introduction to the EOPS Program and the services you'll receive.
• Instruction that sharpens the reading, writing, math and study skills that you'll need for academic success.
• Fun and social transition into college.
• Orientation to campus resources.

Course Descriptions

CNSL 175: Road to College Success-More than Just Books (1 unit)
CNSL 50: Introduction to College (1 unit)*
CRLP 55: Lifelong Learning Strategies (3 units)
IN ADDITION: You can enroll in a one-unit class of your choice.
*Required Foothill College course. You may be eligible for an exemption.
