Angel Sierra
This the WWW faculty home page for Angel Sierra Full-time
instructor and counselor for the PSME Division at Foothill

In 1966, I began my educational career at the secondary
level and continued teaching at Foothill College starting
in 1972. My teaching assignments at Foothill have included
the introductory and general chemistry series, the introductory
and the non-calculus based physics series, and the remedial
math courses numbered 101 or greater. My educational background
includes undergraduate work at Southern Illinois and Cal
State Hayward with graduate work at San Diego State, San
Jose State, U of Missouri, Santa Clara, UCLA, and UCB.

| Although teaching remains my
first job love, my present assignment is counselor and assistant
dean for the PSME division. The assistant's job is paper
chase-personnel related with the counselor segment being
personal and career oriented counseling with an emphasis
on natural sciences, premed, engineering, and business.
The attached picture is my first love, where I have graduated
to the grandparent level whose many pleasant duties involves
hoisting grandchildren on my shoulders.
Foothill College remains a wonderful place to work as well
