The study of German is an excellent choice for students embarking on careers in business, aviation, international relations and travel advising. German is beneficial for students transferring to four-year institutions to major in architecture, engineering, medicine, international studies, linguistics or any of the sciences. German is the language most often required or recommended by the California State Universities and the University of California to satisfy graduation requirements.

NOTE: All courses pertaining to the certificate must be taken for a letter grade. In addition, a GPA of 2.0 or higher is required in all courses for the Certificate.
