The Art/General curriculum is designed to accommodate students who wish to pursue a general interest in the visual arts with the goal of receiving an Associate in Arts Degree and not necessarily transfer to a four-year school.
Foothill College art programs provide fundamental training in art skills and concepts. Art faculty are intensely involved in their disciplines and are professionally dedicated to promoting each student's understanding of the place of art in our lives and in history.

Career opportunities include the following: art dealer, artist, set designer, interior designer, corporate art advisor, graphic artist, residential-commercial-industrial painter, exhibit designer, art critic.

• English proficiency: ENGL 1A, ESL 26 or equivalent.
• Mathematics proficiency: MATH 105 or equivalent.
A minimum of 90 units required to include:
