Upon completion of the required courses, the student is prepared to design, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot networks of all sizes. Skills gained include specification preparation, network management, network design, equipment and system sales, and software development. Laboratory courses provide students with hands-on experience to demonstrate the principles of enterprise networking. Courses provide learning opportunities for students new to the field, as well as, those who are experienced professionals. Specialized courses are also available to help the student prepare for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) Server Administrator and Enterprise Administrator certification exams.

The Associate in Science degree in Enterprise Networking requires the following:
• English proficiency: ENGL 1A, ESL 26, or equivalent.
• Mathematics proficiency: MATH 103/105 or equivalent.
A minimum of 90 Units including:
• All General Education Requirements
• Core Courses (45 Units)
• Select ONE emphasis (10 Units)
• Electives & other graduation requirements as appropriate

NOTE: All courses pertaining to the major must be taken for a letter grade. In addition, a GPA of 2.0 or higher is required in all Core and Support courses for the Degree or Certificates. 50% of the major units must be taken within Computers, Technology and Information Systems Division.
