Course Requirements

• Work a minimum of 50 hours per quarter for one unit of credit in paid employment or 40 hours per quarter in a (pre-approved by CWE) unpaid non-profit organization.
• Complete the CWE downloadable application or online application.
• Meet with staff to enroll in the CWE class and identify the course number and call number.
• Register and pay for the CWE course at the Admissions and Records Office.
• If you are a new student, you must read the Program Guide and complete the Questionnaire at the end.
• Schedule an appointment with your instructor.
• Meet with your instructor and supervisor to discuss Learning Objectives and have the Performance Agreement (PDF) and Learning Objectives Worksheet (PDF) forms signed by your employer.
• Call or e-mail your instructor three times during the quarter.
• Submit timecards (PDF) for specified time frames to your instructor.
• Complete your Required Project.
• Complete your Self-Evaluation Essay.
• Complete your student Program Evaluation (PDF).
