New Student Orientation

New Cooperative Work Experience Program students must read all of the information provided in this section and complete the questionnaire when you are finished. You may submit the questionnaire online or bring it with you to your first meeting with your instructor. The Program Guide is your orientation and will provide you with an overview of the program and clarify course requirements and assignments. It also serves as a reference guide and contains the forms you will need to successfully complete the Cooperative Work Experience class.

Make sure you:

• Complete the CWE application.
• Read the Program Guide and complete the required questionnaire.
• Read and sign the Performance Agreement (PDF).
• Give the Employer Letter (PDF) to your supervisor and discuss CWE program and job-related learning objectives.
• Set up your first meeting with a CWE instructor.
• Complete the Job Description Worksheet (PDF).
• Complete the Learning Objectives Worksheet (PDF).
• Meet with your CWE instructor to discuss learning objectives and required project.
