Ideas for maintaining a healthy planet

In March of 2009 Foothill College will celebrate Womens History Month following the national theme of "Women taking the lead to save the planet". This international mailart project will be exhibited as part of the Women's History Month.

What is Mailart?

It is defined as any piece of artwork that is sent through the postal system. Artworks are sent without expectation of return or compensation. Mailart calls sometimes follow a specific theme. Mailart can take the form of postcard, decorated envelopes,2-D and 3-D art. Mailart is worldwide.
