Doren Robbins

Doren Robbins’ poems and prose poems have appeared in 5AM, American Poetry Review, Cimarron Review, Exquisite Corpse, Hotel Amerika, Indiana Review, Kayak, Nimrod, North Dakota Quarterly, Sulfur, and other periodicals. His recent collections of poetry include Driving Face Down (awarded the Blue Lynx Poetry Award 2000) and My Piece of the Puzzle (awarded the 2008 PEN Oakland Josephine Miles Poetry Award. In 2011 Lost Horse Press published his collection of poems, Amnesty Muse. Robbins is also the author of the prose poem-sequence, Parking Lot Mood Swing: Autobiographical Monologues and Prose Poetry (Cedar Hill Press 2004). His position as the editor of 5_Trope, an online literary journal, will begin 2013 with issue #27. He teaches at Foothill College.
