Free Student Orientation to Etudes
Learn How to Get the Most Out of Foothill's Online Courses

Attend a free, in-person orientation to Etudes, the software most Foothill instructors use to teach online classes. Attend a session from the dates listed below. No registration is required.

  • Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 12:30-2 p.m. in KCI Room 4002; or 
  • Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 3-4:30 pm in KCI Room 4008

The first part of the workshop will cover a variety of topics, including:

  • What is Etudes?;
  • Computer and Web browser requirements;
  • How to log in and get set up;
  • Navigating the course website;
  • Foothill College details (CWID, e-mail address, etc.); and
  • Getting Help.

The second part of the presentation will address these topics:

  • Viewing lectures;
  • Completing assignments;
  • Participating in class discussions; and
  • Taking tests and quizzes.
