The co-ed camps offer individual training in sport fundamentals and strategy, and an overview of the basics of team play. Space is limited, so register early.

Foothill Women's Volleyball Coach Katy Ripp leads two volleyball camps Aug. 1–4 in the newly remodeled Foothill gym. The camp for ages 7–13 meets from 9 a.m. to noon, and the high school camp for grades 9–12 meets from 1 to 4 p.m. Ripp is a former Stanford and Santa Clara University assistant coach and former professional player from the Bud Light Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and Associated Volleyball Professional Beach Volleyball Doubles League. The cost is $125 per person. For more camp information, call (650) 949-7355 or e-mail rippkaty@foothill.edu.

Students can also dive into water polo camps this summer in the Foothill pool. Led by Foothill Women's Water Polo Coach Jeff Bissell, the two water polo camps are designed for novice and advanced players, ages 7–17. Session I runs June 20–24, and Session II runs Aug. 8–12. Both camps meet weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will be divided by ability level. Daily activities include passing and shooting drills, game strategy, team concepts and fundamentals. Bissell has been the Foothill women's coach for the past five years leading highly successful state-ranked teams. The cost is $150 per person and includes gear bag, camp T-shirt, water polo ball and cap.

To register for either camp, you must access www.foothill.edu/athletics, select the water polo or volleyball link, and print out, complete and return the required registration forms. For more information, call (650) 949-7222.
