New Accounting, Geography & Child Development Classes

This summer, Foothill's Business & Social Sciences Division debuts three new courses, including ACTG 68B-C: Advanced Tax Accounting, GEOG 9: California Geography and CHLD 86A: Mentoring & Professional Development of Early Childhood Professionals.

The ACTG 68B-C classes are offered online and will help you prepare to take the Internal Revenue Service's Enrolled Agent Exam.

The four-unit GEOG 9 course studies the extreme regional variations within California. In addition to using maps, geographic information systems, and the Internet, you'll examine settlement, economic development, and urban-industrial-transportation patterns of the state. This course also fulfills the California geography requirement for educator certification.

The new CHLD 86A course provides professional growth hours and allows you to advance toward becoming a child development mentor. Completion of the course will count toward the administrative units required for childhood professional certification. To register, access www.foothill.edu or call (650) 949-7325.
