An Overview
Foothill Has Popular Summer Classes for University Students, High School Grads & Career-Training Professionals

Get some college work completed in between vacations and beach trips. Foothill's Summer Session is the place to be for university students returning home for the break, recent high school graduates, and career professionals looking to upgrade their skills. With a full selection of courses, you can choose from a variety of general education, career development and personal enrichment courses. Our faculty is outstanding and our Summer Session is short—most classes last just six to eight weeks.

At Foothill, university students can enroll in popular general education classes that can be difficult to get into at the university—chemistry, accounting, business, math, political science, speech and many others.

If you're focused on upgrading your career skills, summer is an excellent time to improve your résumé by upgrading your skills in a variety of areas, including business, computer programming, software and Internet technologies, graphic design and art.

Recent high school graduates can get moving on college plans by enrolling in Foothill's CNSL 50: Introduction to College course. The CNSL 50 courses run just one week, and are offered mornings, afternoons, evenings and online.

Foothill classes offer all the quality of a four-year university at a fraction of the cost. Our classes are just $17 per unit for California residents. To register, access www.foothill.edu or call (650) 949-7325.

You're a New Student? Want Priority Registration?

Enroll in the one-unit CNSL 50: Introduction to College course this summer, and you'll get the reward of priority registration and the best selection of Fall Quarter classes. All new students are required to enroll in this orientation class, so it's smart to take it this summer.

Choose the CNSL 50 course time that best suits your busy schedule. To review course times, access the online schedule at www.foothill.edu or redeem the free schedule coupon on the reverse side.

Foothill's CNSL 50 course gives you an orientation to the programs and services that are available to you at Foothill College. You'll discuss academic policies and receive an overview of California's higher education systems, including UC, CSU and private universities. You'll also work with a Foothill counselor to create an educational plan.

You may be exempt from the course if you have verifiable proof that you have completed an orientation course at another college; completed 12 or more college units; or are enrolling only in recreational classes. To register, access www.foothill.edu or call (650) 949-7325.
