Fund Your Future
Financial Aid Options for Every Student
If youre like millions of other students, youre wondering how to pay for college expenses. At Foothill, well help you apply for the financial aid programs that best address your financial situation. We encourage all students to apply for financial aid.
There are two important forms you need to complete and submit to request financial aid - the Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGFW) and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Access both forms online at www.foothill.edu/aid or visit the Financial Aid Office to pick up copies.
If you qualify for the BOGFW, your enrollment fees for Foothill classes will be waived. Whether you qualify for the BOGFW or not, you may also be eligible for other programs and scholarships that can offset the cost of college-related expenses. To determine eligibility, you must submit the FAFSA - perhaps the most important financial-aid-related form you will fill out. The information you provide on your FAFSA will determine if youre eligible for federal grants, loans, work-study and other financial aid options. For more information, call (650) 949-7376.

Foothills New Campus Center Project.
|
Praised as one of the most architecturally significant community colleges, Foothill College continues to add to its legacy of outstanding learning facilities through the Measure E bond approved by voters in 1999. Foothill is currently implementing a comprehensive renovation of existing classroom buildings and making final preparations for constructing new facilities. To date, 13 buildings have been renovated as part of the Measure E plan, and a new classroom building and ultrasound lab has been constructed.
This year, Foothill breaks ground on its two largest projects: construction of a new campus center and demolition of the existing structure; and construction of the new lower campus facilities that will house student services, life sciences and a studio theater.
In April, the college starts the redesign of its campus entrance and realignment of the campus road to accommodate new facilities. At the same time, renovations begin in the locker rooms and gymnasium.
The Measure E schedule of projects is scheduled to be completed by 2008.
