In between beach trips and family reunions, get some college work completed by enrolling in summer classes at Foothill College. Our faculty is outstanding and our Summer Session is short—most classes last just six to eight weeks.

At Foothill, you can enroll in those popular general education classes that can be difficult to get into back at your university—biology, English, history, chemistry, accounting, art, business, speech, political science, physics, math and many others.

Foothill classes offer you all the quality of a four-year university’s undergraduate curriculum. We also maintain articulation agreements with all of the UC and CSU campuses, and many private and out-of-state universities. Our friendly counselors can help you determine which courses are transferable to your university.

You can also review course transfer information online at www.assist.org. When you enroll in Foothill courses, you receive quality instruction and college credit at a fraction of the cost—California residents pay just $7 per unit of instruction plus related student fees.

To schedule an appointment with a Foothill counselor, call (650) 949-7423. For registration instructions click here or call (650) 949-7325.

Are You a New Student?
High School Graduates Want Priority Registration? Take the Counseling 50 Course!

Nicole Henley and StudentReward yourself. Enroll in the one-unit CSNL 50: Introduction to College course this summer and get the reward of priority registration and the best selection of Fall Quarter classes. All new students are required to enroll in this orientation class, so it’s smart to take it this summer.

The CSNL 50 course will give you a hands-on orientation to Foothill College and the programs and services that are available to you. You’ll also discuss academic policies and receive an overview of California’s higher education systems, including UC, CSU and private universities. You’ll also work with a Foothill counselor to create an educational plan that meets the education and career goals you’ve outlined for yourself.

Course times range from early morning to evening. To review course times, access the Schedule of Classes online or redeem the coupon on the reverse side for a printed copy of the schedule. Choose the CSNL 50 course time that best suits your busy schedule.

You may be exempt from taking CNSL 50 if you have verifiable proof that you have completed an orientation course at another college; completed 12 or more college units; or are taking only recreational classes.

If you’re currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior, you can still take classes at Foothill. Simply download the permission form, have your parent/guardian and high school principal sign the form, and return it to the Foothill Admissions Office.

For more information about attending classes at Foothill while you’re still in high school, visit your school’s counseling center or the Foothill Student Success Center (Room 1901) or call (650) 949-7511. For registration instructions, click here or call (650) 949-7325.
