Online Course Spotlight
Curtain Goes Up On Theatre Arts Appreciation

Turn your computer into a classroom by enrolling in the four-unit online DRAM 1: Theatre Arts Appreciation course. You’ll select a few plays to see and write about your experience. You’ll also participate in online discussions of theatre topics with fellow students. The course is taught by Foothill Drama Instructor Jay Manley, the award-winning founder and artistic director of Foothill Music Theatre.

In-Depth Study: Post World War II Germany
Explore the relationship between politics and culture in Germany with a special focus on the political and literary response to unification by enrolling in the four-unit POLI 8: Post World War II Germany course. The class is taught by Foothill Political Science Instructor Meredith Heiser, an expert in the area of post-communist transitions, who holds a doctorate in international relations from Johns Hopkins University.

Self-Paced Algebra Classes
If you’re a self-motivated, independent learner, you can complete pre-algebra or elementary algebra at your own pace by enrolling in Foothill’s one-unit online self-paced math classes. You’ll take exams when you feel prepared, renew your skills and build your confidence so that you will be prepared to successfully complete higher-level math courses. You must attend one orientation session and complete exams at the on-campus Math Center. This fall, choose from MATH 101A: Real Numbers and MATH 200A: Whole Numbers, Integers & Algebraic Expressions. For course information, email Foothill Math Instructor Janice Carr at carrjanice@foothill.edu.
