New Online Course
Beginning Music Theory & Composition

Musical NotesLearn about the fundamentals of music and their application to composition and music literature by enrolling in the new online MUS 3A: Beginning Music Theory, Literature & Composition course. The five-unit class explores notation, scales, intervals, triads, and their use in basic composition. The course is taught by Foothill Music Instructor Tim Roberts.

One-Day Workshops for Enthusiasts & Professionals
Saturday Travel Seminars

In addition to offering an associate degree, the Foothill College Travel Careers Program offers an exciting series of Saturday seminars for travel professionals and enthusiasts.

This fall, seminars are TC 79E: Travel Photography & Marketing on Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and TC 79D: Exotic Destinations on Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each seminar is 1/2 unit of college credit.

Only Program of Its Kind in the Bay Area
Providing Leading-Edge GIS Instruction

GIS ImageModeled on national standards and the only program of its kind in the Bay Area, the Foothill College Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certificate Program begins its third year of providing leading-edge GIS instruction for Foothill students.

This fall, you can enroll in the four-unit GEOG 12: Introduction to GIS course which meets in the newly remodeled Krause Center for Innovation at Foothill College.

The program provides you with a practical, hands-on approach to implementing GIS projects and using leading GIS software products.

The program is modeled after core curriculum in the geographic information sciences of the National Science Foundation and National Center for Geographic Information Analysis.
