Olga Sheykhet
Olga Sheykhet, MM, teaches Music 12 A,B,C and is associated with Music 3A and Music 8 courses at Foothill College.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Ms Sheykhet received her MM at Manhattan School of Music, New York, studying in the studio of Nina Svetlanova. She received her BM in Classical Piano Performance from UC Santa Barbara, where she studied with Paul Berkowitz. Ms. Sheykhet has performed in numerous festivals and competitions including the Bösendorfer Piano Academy in Vienna, Austria and Puigcerdà Music Festival in Barcelona, Spain. In addition, she has participated in Master Classes with Louis Lortie, Oksana Yablonskaya, Krassimira Jordan, Wolfgang Watzinger, and Richard Goode. Currently, Ms. Sheykhet teaches at Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, California, where she teaches children as well as adults.
