Year-Round Language Classes
During the Winter Quarter several language classes are offered at the Middlefield Campus, including Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean or Spanish. In addition you might enjoy two specialized courses Italian Language and Culture and Introduction of Japanese Culture.

Summer 2008
Intensive World Language Institute
June 30 – August 8

Immersion is a way of teaching that literally immerses you in a foreign language and culture. It is like going to a foreign country and learning the language from native speakers. It is the best way to get to the point where you are thinking in that language.

Foothill College's best instructors teach you their languages each summer. Five days a week from 8 am to 2 pm you will be surrounded by a foreign language, culture and awareness. Every two weeks, the next sequence is offered (see dates below):

WORLD LANGUAGES:

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS who have completed the 10^th grade by June 2008 are eligible to take courses which can count for high school language credit.

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS HOME FOR THE SUMMER can complete their language requirement for college.

All courses are 5 quarter units, $13 per unit plus basic fees, and meet Monday through Friday, 8am to 2pm.
