WHAT:

ESL Writing Center tutors -- experienced teachers and writers -- will advise students on writing assignments. Tutors will not proofread or correct errors for you, but they will assist you with
- essay development
- thesis statements
- form (beginning, middle, end)
- outlines and organization
- transitions
- sentence structure and grammar
- usage and lexical restrictions
- documentation

WHO:

Students enrolled in ESL Composition classes (ESL 167, ESL 25, ESL 26).

HOW:
|
Students should come to the ESL Writing Center to make appointments. Students should bring a printed copy of their essay, a copy of their teacher's assignment, their textbook, and copies of any material they are using for their essay.
