The Humanities Department

The study of Humanities explores the central questions about the meaning and experience of human life that reflect our diverse heritage, traditions, and history. Humanities seeks to add relevance to our lives through a multidisciplinary focus on the fundamental question, What does it mean to be human? The study of Humanities reaches to the need as human beings to supply ourselves with a world of common meanings that stretch across time and across human societies.
