The campus center is a center of activity and student life. It houses the student activities office, the cafeteria and café, the bookstore, the gift shop, the health services office, student lounge, meeting rooms, student government offices, and many others.
Campus Clubs
The Student Activities Office oversees the
student clubs on campus including academic, social, political and service groups such as the environmental action club, the Muslim Student Association, the rugby club, the Taiwanese Student Union, Japanese Cultural club, etc.
Athletics
Sports teams at Foothill include mens and womens soccer, swimming, tennis, golf, basketball, and water polo. Men also play football and women play softball and volleyball. Intramural sports are also played. In addition, students may take classes in tennis, golf, swimming, dance, aerobics, martial arts, yoga, basketball, and volleyball.
Leadership

Opportunities in student government and other clubs give students a chance to exhibit leadership skills and experience in decision-making, planning, team building, problem solving, etc. For students interested in transferring to a university, this is an excellent way to demonstrate your leadership skills, which can be important in admissions.
