Summer Program Features

The program also includes 2 full-day excursions. These fun and informative trips will provide students the opportunity to experience the magnificent city of San Francisco, and the scenic Carmel coastal area including the unparalleled Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Foothill College: The heart of San Francisco Bay AreaFoothill College awards the Associate in Arts and the Associate in Science degree in more than 80 fields of study. Upon completion of Foothill College you'll transfer into the third year of a four-year university.

Foothill is located in the heart of "Silicon Valley", midway between San Francisco and San Jose. This exciting area offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities and cultural attractions.
Whatever you like sports, museums, outdoors, restaurants, or nightlife they are all close to you. You can drive to the beach or the forest in only one hour, and you can get to the snow in less than a day. You have the best of all worlds right here.
Program cost is $2,500 US.
Includes: Tuition, fees, textbooks, health insurance, and excursions.
Not included: personal expenses, food or housing.
To reserve a place in FSBP, submit a non-refundable deposit of $500 immediately (the Summer Bridge Program is limited to 30 participants). The $2,000 balance is due on May 31, 2008. Make check payable to Foothill College, FSBP.
Fall Orientation and RegistrationUpon successfully completing the Foothill College Summer Bridge Program (FSBP), students are eligible to begin regular credit courses at Foothill in the Fall Quarter. All international students are required to attend the mandatory Fall Quarter orientation in late August or early September, which follows the summer Bridge Program. During orientation, you will take placement tests for English as a Second Language and Math, and an academic counselor will meet with you to plan your curriculum while attending Foothill College.

Apartment InformationSince apartments in this area are very expensive, students who choose to live in apartments usually share with others. One bedroom apartments range from $800 to $1,200 per month. A list of apartments can be provided after you arrive in the US.
