Some instructors email a welcome message to their online students before the quarter starts but others don't. Do NOT count on anyone contacting you about your online course.

Instead, you are expected to visit the online course description to find out details about the online course in which you are enrolled and to follow the Etudes login instructions and access the course within the first few days of the start of the quarter.
