Map Your Future (MYF) at High Schools

High School

Our goal is to create a bridge between the high school students and Foothill College to offer a wide array of services that focus on student success such as career exploration and advising, registration assistance, mentoring, academic support, and culturally-inclusive community development, to name a few. Through MYF workshops, one-on-one meetings, information tables and campus visits students gain first-hand knowledge of how to prepare for their future career or college paths.

The MAP Peer Advisor Program is instrumental in helping high school students consider career exploration while they are still in high school so that they can make well-informed decisions about a career and/or college track upon graduation.
three studnets MAP Peer Advisors are strategically assigned to local high schools and regional occupational programs to offer guidance on how to align prospective students' strengths and interests with career aspirations and to inform them about concurrent enrollment, articulation agreements and degrees and programs at Foothill.
