The behavior you will encounter when you try to exceed your alloted quota will vary depending upon which software tool you are using to upload the files. This could be an explicit message stating you have exceeded your quota or a generic error stating the operation failed for unexpected reasons.
The solution is simple - remove files you don't need so you have room to upload files you do need. And we've got a tool where you can check your disk usage and possibly make needed adjustments.
Note: If you do encounter an error when uploading files, it is likely that the files (or portions thereof) you uploaded are corrupted. You would be advised to delete the files and re-upload them.
