Here are some common questions related to the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) Software Alliance allowing qualifying students to acquire Microsoft software for a minimal administrative fee.
The program administrator is the staff member in the CTIS Division responsible for administering this program at our college. If you have additional questions not answered in our pages, contact the MSDN program administrator directly.

Answers
The CTIS Division has contracted with Microsoft for this program. You must be enrolled in
a class offered by the CTIS Division - a class in the BT, CAST, CIS, CNET or COIN departments.
Registered students are allowed to obtain a maximum of 2 copies of any software program. The
use of acquired software is legally restricted to the individual acquiring the software and is
limited to their personal use. Redistribution of this software in any manner is legally
prohibited under the terms of the MSDN program!
Also, friends, family and colleagues not currently enrolled in a course that is part of an MSDNAA department are not allowed to access or use this software. For examples of appropriate usage see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/academic/program/usageguide/default.aspx

Students currently enrolled in a CTIS class may obtain software during weeks 4 - 12 of a
quarter.
No, you must be enrolled in

Yes, as long as you are the owner of both computers and both are
being used for instructional purposes. NOTE: If you require another key
for a product you must
contact the program administrator.
