Asian/Pacific American Network(APAN)

APAN, the Asian/Pacific American Network, was founded in 2000 by a group of Asian/Pacific American faculty and staff who wanted to make themselves more available to Asian/Pacific American students, determine what services were needed by this student population and provide ethnic pride.

APAN is also connected to the Asian Pacific Islander Committee who provide the program and activities for the annual Asian Cultural Heritage Month each April.

It is the mission of each member of APAN to make Foothill College a better place for Asian/Pacific American students both academically and culturally. To this end goal, APAN hosted the first annual special graduation for Asian/Pacific American students. To learn about this event, click on the Events link.

APAN hopes that you will return to this website to learn who the faculty and staff are on the Foothill campus, find out about events in which you may participate, see the results of a student survey taken in March, 2001 and where you can communicate with APAN members.
