Take a LINC-FastTech Class

Join the excitement! Take a LINC-FastTech class in our state-of-the-art facility. Our specially designed flexible classroom allows you to choose to learn on either a Mac or PC lap top. Other LINC classes take place in our PC or Mac classrooms. Bring a friend or colleague. Our high-tech facility includes wireless connectivity, extensive software offerings, new Dells with flat screens, -new iMacs and even laptops in our K-14 flexible classroom. Learn technology and curriculum skills you can use in your classrooms! Our short courses will enable you to use technology in your classroom to support your curriculum and inspire and engage your students. You will earn to use a variety of computer software for both your personal and your professional use.

All LINC-FastTech students have access to our Open Access Multimedia labs through the quarter for which they are registered. Regular lab hours are 6:30 a.m to 9 p.m Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Summer quarter lab hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Exciting LINC Course Offerings

In addition to our on-campus LINC course offerings we offer online classes and classes at off-campus sites. Some highlights include:

a 3-unit Introduction to Computers class that is equivalent to SJSU's EDIT122 (Level 1 Technology Proficiencies for the teaching credential). These units will transfer to SJSU's teacher credentialling program.
Mac OS X
a class to learn to use your handheld PDA in the classroom
Adobe Teach the Teacher free Adobe Software classes. Register at RAFT (Resource Area for Teachers).
