Career Focus Speaker Series

The Career Focus speakers series, sponsored by the Foothill College Career Center, features industry professionals providing informative discussions, personal experiences, and practical advice. The Career Center focuses on helping students choose a major as well as preparing them to enter the work force. By attending Career Focus presentations, you'll gain new insight into the real world of work, learn the pros and cons about a particular career, and make educated decisions about entering a profession or obtaining further education.

Have your resume and cover letter critiqued. For a resume or cover letter critique, a rough draft must be typed and printed. Bring corresponding job ads if necessary.

* Career Focus: Careers In Evidenced-Based Psychological Research
Seth T. Pardo, Ph.D. uses a fuzzy-trace approach to explore the intersections of identity, risk perception, risky behavior, and medical decision making. Seth also conducts research on the meanings, expressions, and development of gender nonconforming identities in adolescence and adulthood. In addition to serving as Executive Director of PERC-NOW.org, an education and research consulting organization, Dr. Pardo now serves on the Educational Steering Committee for the Society of Medical Decision Making.
