Career Counseling & Assessment
Counselors are available to help you at every step of the way in your career and college major exploration and in the decision-making process.
Counselors will help you answer questions such as:
- How do I make decisions about my career or major selection?
- How do I return to college after years of being out of school?
- How can I change the direction of my career?
- How can I balance my family, job and school responsibilities?
Counselors are available on an appointment or drop in basis. To schedule an appointment, please call (650) 949-7423 or come by the Counseling Center for a drop-in session.
Career assessment or testing is available through our Career Life Planning courses: CRLP 70-Self Assessment or CRLP 71- Exploring Career Fields. Assessments may include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (tm) instrument, EUREKA Skills Sort, the Strong Interest Inventory, the Self Directed Search, and values instruments.
