Constructed of common materials and sustainably planted, the Foothill College rooftop garden is designed with modular pieces that will fit even the smallest spaces. As practical as it is beautiful, it invites you to rediscover a forgotten province of your home. A room above the hustle and bustle, beyond the ordinary. A space beyond and above.
Foothill College offers a variety of hands-on environmental horticulture and design courses which emphasize the integration of sustainable practices for every aspect of the green industry. Our students learn to combine principles of environmental design and construction, as well as maintenance practices for urban, rural and natural landscapes.
At Foothill, you can earn an Associate in Science Degree or Certificate of Achievement in Environmental Horticulture & Design with a variety of specializations. Day and evening classes are offered.
