Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the Foothill College Biotechnology Laboratory Technician Program.

• Request and attach copies of necessary documentation. Applications without supporting documentation will not be considered.

Each Fall Quarter, 26 students are admitted to the beginning lab sequence (BTEC 51AL course). After submitting the Foothill College Application for Admission, we strongly recommend you schedule an appointment with a Foothill counselor, to ensure your coursework meets the prerequisites. Prerequisites

• MATH 101, or recent high school algebra, or placement into MATH 105;
• ENGL 110 or ESL 25 or eligibility;
• BIOL 10 or recent high school Biology; and
• CHEM 30A and CHEM 30B, or any college survey of inorganic, organic, and biochemistry course with a lab.
